Transparency in LogonStudio

Really quick question, can there be transparency in the logon screens? I've noticed some of the screens have the logon area (where you position the icons) have a transparent look to them, is this done thru true transparency, like WB5, or is it just made to look that way via the graphic?

Hope this is a clear question

The images are made that way with graphics software.
